It started as a joke. Sara and I got to a trade show and found out we’d both packed black dresses with white polkadots.

Obviously we had to wear them on the same day.

Months later, at another tradeshow, we were out shopping and tried on a couple of matching dresses from the clearance rack. The dresses didn’t fit very well and we didn’t buy them but it was pretty funny.

Then the day after Christmas I was at Macy’s with my cousin doing the whole return and exchange thing when I saw the dresses. Crazy colors, stripes, knit, $9.99 each! This would be way more than $19.98 worth of funny.

Ten years and a many more outfits later it’s still way more than $19.98 worth of funny!
